Included here are some of the songs I wrote between 1972 and 1977. This recording session was only intended to be a work-tape of sorts so I wouldn't forget these songs. They were recorded in 1979 using an old sound-on-sound, reel-to-reel tape machine.

For each song, I used a single microphone to lay down the basic guitar & vocals simultaneously on the right channel. Then I transferred what I had recorded over to the left channel while playing another instrument or whatever.

This was very primitive on today's standards.

The reel containing these songs drifted around on various boats for over a decade. Then this reel became lost for about 15 years in the piles of junk that accumulated in a garage.

Recently I discovered it while wading through that garage and restored it using the modern magic of Audition 3.0. These songs are a heart-felt, honest reflection of the early years.
